This jerky is the ultimate high value reward, packed with 90% beef from the finest Finnish grass fed cows and slow dried over 24 hours at low temperatures to lock in nutrients and moisture, your pooch's mouth will water at the meaty taste, leaving tails wagging for more.

Composition: Beef 90%, glycerin of vegetable origin, lignocellulose, sodium chloride.

Natural antioxidants: rosemary extract & tocopherol extracts from vegetable oils (1b306(i)).

Analytical constituents: Protein 30%, crude fat 27%, crude fibres 3%, inorganic matter 6.5%, moisture 18%

The quantities below are meant as a rough guide. The correct amount of food will depend on your dog’s level of activity, breed, age and if they are overweight or underweight.

Evolutionary Feeding

Jerky replicates a dog's natural wild diet and therefore is high in protein, which makes for an extra special high value treat.

Grain-Free - Grains do not form part of the canine diet and as a result, many dogs struggle to digest grains.

FAQs

Why are there other ingredients aside from meat in this Jerky?

Whilst 90% of the jerky is made up solely of beef, we do have to add other ingredients to make a well formed nutritional product, let's break them down;
Glycerine is an oil from vegetable products such as coconut and is used to bind ingredients together.
Lignocellulose is a natural plant-made ingredient and the scientific term for dietary fibre. It helps to digest the other ingredients and give the feeling of 'fullness'.
Sodium chloride is more commonly known to you and me as salt. We add the tiniest amount of this as it helps cells to function in your pooch's body, maintaining fluid balance, acid-base balance and nerve signal transmission.

What is a high value reward?

High value rewards elicit a strong emotional response from your dog and are the treats that they absolutley love and will do anything for. Low value rewards are the the standard treats that you use on a daily basis for ongoing training and good behaviour. You might use a high value reward when first teaching a new trick or desired behaviour to encourage the dog to engage more to get the reward. High value treats such as jerky should be an exciting treat (not fed on a regular basis) for good behaviour or just to show your pooch how much you love them, so they're are excited to receive it each time.

Can I feed this to my puppy?

This Jerky is suitable for all breeds and ages from 8 weeks old, however we always recommend that you supervise your dog when eating any treats or chews to ensure they don't swallow it whole and there is no choking hazard. For small breeds or puppies you can brak the jerky down into smaller pieces to make it easier for them to chew and digest
